Comments on the Bill to amend the Mexican Constitution in electricity matters

On October 1st, 2021, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador introduced to the House of Representatives a bill to amend articles 25, 27, and 28 of the Mexican Constitution (the “Bill”).
The Bill includes a number of legal changes that the current administration has already attempted to implement through various intended amendments to the legal and regulatory framework.
